Members of the board to Iran-Germany Chamber of Commerce Mr. Moghtadi Kermanshahani, Mr. Butagh Khanbodaghi and Mr. Seifali Ghaffari visited  Jam Petrochemical Company in Asalouyeh  on the 20th of April, 2010 in which they faced the warm welcome of the above mentioned company. The purpose of the trip was for the officials to get more familiar with the organization. There was also a meeting amongst the top officials about the current issues on management and plans of further cooperation on educational matters are in progress.

Asalouyeh is located in the south of Iran. The 10th Olefin Plant (Jam Petrochemical Company) is one of the country’s strategic development plans whose preliminary phases and feasibility studies were undertaken in NPC’s Planning and Development Management Office and its executive operations were granted to Jam Petrochemical Company in 2000.
The execution of the project is aimed at fulfilling some purposes of the Iranian Industrial Development Plan. The Olefin Unit of Jam Petrochemical Company is the largest Olefin unit in Iran and all around the world with an annual production capacity of 1,320,000 tons of ethylene and 306,000 tons of propylene. The execution of a project of such magnitude is seen as a significance achievement in the country’s petrochemical industry.
